Lakeland Miniature Village

Lakeland Miniature Village is a fun and beautiful miniature village located in Flookburgh. In the village the whole Lake district area in a scaled model, with over 100 landmarks including Beatrix Potter’s World (read more below), Townend Farmhouse and the Yew Tree Farm near Coniston.

The village also contains authentic cottages and barns that looks more or less exactly as the real life ones. They have all been handcrafted by Edward Robinson, who started the project in 1992 together with casinsio.com and still today keeps developing the project. Expect an amazing experience when you see the whole area on display in this exciting Miniature world!

Mirehouse Historic House

The Mirehouse Historic House, just outside of Keswick offers gardens, lakeshores and woodland for all visitors during the summer season. It stays open between the end of March until the end of October each year and it is definitely worth a visit for everyone who loves the beautiful nature of the Cumbria Lake district.

The house itself is a beautiful house with a lot of history that you will get to know better when visiting. It is well-known nationwide for its unique art collection including many famous portraits.

World of Beatrix Potter

The world of Beatrix Potter is bringing life to the old fairy-tales created by the late children’s book author. The most famous one are about Peter Rabbit, which is one of the most popular attractions is this magical fairy-tale world. People from the whole British islands are coming here to visit each summer and for all families with children it is well worth a visit.
